Near Shore Wave Energy Converter

The Neptune Triton near shore wave energy converter is a seabed mounted, resonant point absorber with 400 kW installed capacity generated from one device. Each device utilises a patent pending, axi-asymmetric buoy driving water hydraulic cylinders, accumulators and turbines into electrical generators mounted on a light weight steel ‘A’ frame piled into the seabed approximately 100 metres off the low tide mark, at depths of approximately 10 metres.
