APCTT-CSIR Workshop on New Models of Partnership and Technology Transfer

APCTT organised a Workshop on New Models of Partnership and Technology Transfer during  9-11 March 2016  in Ghaziabad, India for Senior R&D managers of various laboratories of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) of Government of India.  This workshop attracted the participation of 20 R&D managers from different parts of India who manage the technology commercialization portfolio of various CSIR institutions in the country. The workshop provided a learning platform for the participants to learn best practices in technology commercialization as well as in establishing cross-border partnerships for accelerating knowledge transfer.  The deliberations during this three days workshop also led to a series of recommendations for APCTT and CSIR to regularly organise capacity building programmes in this key area and also to forge a strategic partnership through which the member organizations of CSIR could get enhanced access to technologies, markets and partnerships in countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
