RUBBER RECYCLING AND RETREADING SYSTEM: INTEGRATED TIRE GRINDING AND PRODUCT RE-USING SYSTEM. British-Swedish company offers integrated tire grinding and end product reusing system, including the following main components: -Scrap tire collection system and logistics; -Selection, the reasonable good ones forwarded for retreading others for grinding; -Grinding of the whole tire and separation of crumb, textile and steel; -Combined utilisation of the crumb; -Recycling of secondary carbon black; -Manufacturing of porous pipes for dry zone irrigation; -Manufacturing of rubber tiles and surface protection; -Manufacturing of miscellaneous rubber products; -Utilisation of the textile and steel. The PCS technology is an advanced carbonisation, in reductive environment in absence of air. The PCS technology has been completely developed and designed to meet the new U.S. and European environmental norms and international market requirements beyond the year 2000. The main component of the PCS process is a specially designed, indirectly fired rotary reactor in which the pure organic feed stock in a reductive environment is carbonised and perfectly gassed-out, in low vacuum, at the temperature of approx. 600 deg.C into pyrolysis gas-vapour and char end product. Pyrolysis gas-vapour is directly combusted at high temperature and heat recovered. The remaining gas is cleansed in a high capture efficient, indirectly cooled, wet gas scrubber and the impurities are collected from the scrubber process water prior to discharge. Char is indirectly cooled and discharged for fine milling below 63 micron dimension. The fine milled Secondary Carbon Black end product is utilised as filling material at manufacturing of technical rubber products.
