Clean Coal Production
British-Swedish company offers advanced low temperature carbonization process for desulphurization of low values coal and lignite. The PCS technology has been completely developed and designed to meet the new U.S. and European environmental norms and international market requirements beyond the year 2000. The main component of the PCS process is a specially designed, indirectly fired rotary reactor in which the feed stock in a reductive environment is perfectly gassed-out, in low vacuum, at the temperature of approx. 600 deg.C into pyrolysis gas-vapor and carbon char end product. Pyrolysis gas-vapor is directly combusted at high temperature and heat recovered. The remaining gas is cleansed in a high capture efficient, indirectly cooled Multi Venturi Off Gas Scrubber and the impurities are collected from the scrubber process water prior to discharge.
