Anti-Cancer Health Food
The present technology provides a novel extract obtained from Agaricus bisporus which exhibits very high anti-tumor activity against cancer cells and hence has potential as an anticancer agent. The said extract together with pharmaceutically acceptable additives forms a novel anti-cancer composition. The said composition may be administered orally or any other route, preferably orally in the form of tablets, capsules, granules, syrup etc. Moreover the said extract (comprising 40% of proteins and 35% of carbohydrates and balance 25% of lipids) may be incorporated in biscuits, beverages, dairy products, oil-and-fat products, seasonings, cakes, fruit juice, etc., as health food.
