The Asian and Pacific Centre for Transfer of Technology (APCTT) of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) is organising an International Conference on Green Technologies for Climate Action and Resilience on 5 December 2023. The conference will be jointly organized with Agency for Innovative Development, Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations, Republic of Uzbekistan.
The Conference seeks to increase knowledge and awareness on enabling policies and innovative applications and good practices in green technologies for climate action and resilience. It would also foster cross-border collaboration among stakeholders, including government, industry, academia, and civil society, to accelerate transfer, adoption and diffusion of green technologies for climate action and resilience.
Government officials, policymakers and research institutions, Industry leaders, academia, researchers and civil society organisations are anticipated to participate in the conference.
