Automatic Labelling Machine (ALM) (Malaysia)
The ALM performs automated product labelling for reliable and consistent production output. Designed and fabricated by SIRIM using a Computer Aided Design (CAD) approach, the machine has proven itself by delivering trouble-free +operation in the industry. The system is built up with reliable mechanical components and controlled by Programmable Logic Control (PLC). Sensing devices used by the ALM consists of opto-electronic sensors and +fibre-optics. The ALM is reprogrammable for other special labelling requirements. The ALM caters to the need of automated product labelling for a wide range of manufacturing industry. It offers the benefit of low cost for high +return on investment, can be operated by unskilled workers and is almost maintenance free. Integration of the ALM to an existing production line is straight forward and connects directly to a normal single phase 230V supply. This machine will label on plastic or metal bottle/cans. Shapes such as cartons and cartridges can also be labelled with special attachments to the basic machine.
