Prevention System for Electrical Fault
The Preventive System for Electrical Faults (PSEF) is a device used in conjunction with an electrical system / equipment to prevent it from electrical faults resulting due to abnormal electrical parameters. It comprises of a "monitoring unit" to sense / measure electrical fault with the help of a sensing / measuring device. The said device is further connected to "signal processing and controlling unit" to receive data and thus provide output for fault identification. The "alarming and indication unit" gives alarm for controlling actions and command for trip signal to circuit breaking device. The "data collecting and processing unit" stores the processed data at "data history storage and display unit" for back reference. The system continuously monitors for abnormality and provides feedback about the eventuality at the developing stage of the fault of the location. The feedback is processed at processors / controllers and provides the all required alarms, tripping, tends, graphs, data of events and logs. Integrated network and system may also be configured to operate, monitor and control from any central remote places. Within the system there is provision to view complete visuals and history. It works with the help of sensors that are placed at the customized location of applied electrical equipments.
