Asian and Pacific Centre for Transfer of Technology (APCTT) of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) and the Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology (IROST), Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, Islamic Republic organised the International Conference on Technologies for Climate-resilient Infrastructure. The conference provided a platform for discussion on enhancing climate resilience infrastructure using new and emerging technologies in the Asia-Pacific region and support in fostering cross-sector collaboration to identify and scale up technologies for climate-resilience infrastructure in the region. The event brought together over 100 participants from various sectors namely government, policymakers, private sector representatives, academia and researchers, urban planners and engineers, civil society organizations, financial institutions, technology developers, and environment and sustainability experts.
